"Dakota Street" is an original work by Dave Lopez, donated to the PostNormCore collection as a gift to our Operations Lead, Jake. All shirts in the PostNormCore collection benefit Jake’s gender-affirming surgeries.

Dave Lopez is a musician and artist living in Philadelphia, PA. An old friend and bandmate of Jake's, Dave previously played guitar (as well as wrote most of the music and a fair share of the lyrics) for their now-defunct band, Downtrodder. Dave also designed all of the art and merch for Downtrodder, and had a lot of fun creating something for PostNormCore. Dave adds, "Philadelphia is well known for its murals and I often think about what mural could go on all the bare walled buildings around town. The building in the tshirt is actually a building in Philadelphia near my house, and this is just one of those ideas I had on how I’d do it up."
